Love is medicine, and our CommUnity’s has been putting in the work to heal- both ourselves and our beloved river.
With over 512 buckets of trash collected so far in , we’re making a substantial difference when we gather.
And everyone is always talking about how fun and therapeutic it is!
…we’re even having a potluck and flow jam afterwards.
So come join us!
“We can’t do all the good the world needs, but the world needs all the good we can do.”
So we're showing up together to do the work, because we care.
We're Water Protectors, Environmental Activists, Lovers of the Sacred, and at times, just a bunch of dirty hippies. Either way, we all love nourishing the Earth by picking up trash, and we want you to join us!
Answering the question, "Why do you go Trash Hiking?"
"I trash hike because I love the Earth, and I love beautiful pristine natural areas, so I'm helping keep them that way. Plus it's a way to give back to Mother Nature who has given me everything."
"I believe that work is love made visible, and when I'm trash hiking, I get to express that love while being in the company of those I love. Why wouldn't I go trash hiking?"
"I trash hike because I want to honor and give back to our Earth who has given us everything."
This is where we post about upcoming trash hikes, share photos, and coordinate everything.
We don't really like Facebook, but we do like trash hiking with as many people as possible.
So spread the word!
